With the easing of Covid-19 restrictions between Singapore and Malaysia, more Singaporeans can

1. If you are renting a vehicle, check with your rental company if it’s approved for travel into Malaysia. 2. Check that you have your VEP ready. It is mandatory for all foreign registered vehicles to apply for a VEP before entering Malaysia, and you can submit your application at the Road Transport Department of Malaysia.

4. Prepare your Touch N’ Go (TnG) card, by ensuring there is sufficient credit in the card.

5. Last but not least, make sure your vehicle’s fuel tank is at least 3/4 full before exiting Singapore. A fine may be imposed who those who violate this.
